President and Owner of Carolina DeWell Coaching, LLC, Carolina brings over 20 years of experience in HR, team and organizational effectiveness, career development, and leadership development training to each client engagement. She currently works with Fortune 500 clients as well as individual coaching clients.
Her most recent corporate role was AVP, Human Resources at DIRECTV Latin America. In that role, Carolina was responsible for leading the HR teams and Talent Management organization across 5 countries in Latin America. She was instrumental in establishing and facilitating strategic planning meetings and cultural definition sessions that served to define and align the strategy and culture of the company.
Prior to joining DIRECTV, Carolina served in leadership roles in Organizational Development and Talent Acquisition at Amerigroup Corporation, a health insurance company in Virginia Beach, VA. Before joining Amerigroup, Carolina held several Training and Organizational Development roles at Genworth Financial in both Richmond, VA and Sydney, Australia.
Carolina has a reputation of being a trusted advisor to clients and leaders at all levels - from President to individual contributor.
She holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Development from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in Resource Management from Virginia Tech. She is bilingual (Spanish) and has been certified in the DISC Profile, Zenger-Folkman 360 assessment, Predictive Index Profile, and Situational Leadership II.
Carolina is based in Richmond, VA and enjoys spending time with her family and pursuing her life-long passion for dance and live music.
